App Usage
The In the Booth mobile App (the app) is for exclusive use of In The Booth Photobooth (ITB) clients and guests. In the Booth respects our guests and users privacy, and the information below sets out how the app uses information contained within and access required to the users device.
Personal Information
To facilitate the below features, the In the Booth Mobile App requires access to the camera roll and camera of the users device. This access is required exclusively for the below purposes, and is not used by the app for any other reason.
The app does not collect or transmit any personal details or other information from the device. No user-identifiable data is collected or sent to In the Booth through the use of the In the Booth app.
Download Feature
The download functionality of the app allows images to be downloaded that have been taken through an In the Booth photo booth at an event where the person hiring the booth has elected to make guests images available through the mobile app platform.
Images must only be downloaded with the express permission of all persons appearing in each image by users with permission to use the unique download code for said images.
Unauthorised possession, use or distribution of any image is strictly prohibited and ITB accepts no responsibility for the downloading or subsequent use of any image.
Images can be downloaded throughout an event or for a period of time after the event has concluded for as long as images remain stored on our server. ITB does not warrant that images will be stored for any defined time after an event and may be deleted at any time without notice.
The user and owner of the device accept full responsibility for any downloaded images and their subsequent use.
Image Sharing
The app allows users to share downloaded images through other social platforms installed on their device or through native sharing options belonging to the device. Any image shared through a third party application will be subject to the privacy policies of that application. In the Booth recommends all users to read and be familiar with the privacy policies of any application they choose to share images or any other information with.
Any downloaded images must only be shared through any means with the express permission of all persons appearing in each image.
The user and owner of this device accept full responsibility for obtaining permission from required persons prior to the sharing of any image.
ITB accepts no responsibility for the sharing or distribution of any image.
Guest Cam Feature
If enabled at an event, the guestcam feature allows users of the app to take photos with their device and send these to the booth for printing throughout the event. Any image uploaded through this app for printing via an In The Booth Photobooth is done so with the understanding that the image may also be made available digitally and/or physically to the client for whom the booth is provided.
By uploading an image for printing, full copyright release is granted to both ITB and the client associated with the booth. If this is not granted, then the image must not be uploaded.
Furthermore, images must only be uploaded with the express permission of all persons appearing in each image and with their understanding of the above.
ITB does not guarantee that every images uploaded will be printed. ITB reserves the right to withhold images from printing for any reason and without explanation, including but not limited to equipment or connectivity failure, event timings, or the nature of uploaded images.
ITB accepts no responsibility or liability of any kind for images not printed. Any non-printed images may still be provided to the client in digital or physical form and this in no way waives or diminishes the above release of copyright in any respect.
