Steve & Kate – the boothmasters

Ten years ago, two self-proclaimed perfectionists fell in love. They had two beautiful (and perfect, of course!) children. Steve started his own company designing home theatre and home automation systems, drawing on expertise from his electronics engineering and production services background. Kate, inspired by capturing every moment of their babies’ lives on film, started a photography studio.

Years later, they imagined a merge of their two fields of expertise – with an amazing photobooth. A booth that would be different from the rest; that would give clients the quality they both strive for in their respective businesses. And the rest, as the say, is history. We love being together, working together and we love striving to make In the Booth the best it can possibly be.

Luke – booth attendant extraordinaire one

Loves Pirates of the Caribbean, White-Choc-Macadamia Subway cookies, has a girlfriend named Sophie and is studying. He also just happens to be an awesome booth attendant, and has been known to enjoy the booth a little too much.

Lyall – booth attendant extraordinaire two

Would like everyone to know that just because he’s listed as ‘booth attendant extraordinaire two’ does not in any way mean he is inferior to Luke, it just made sense alphabetically. Lyall likes good coffee and going to Bunnings, whether he needs new tools or not.

Graham – booth attendant extraordinaire three

Echoes Lyall’s thoughts on being labelled attendant number three. He has a background in large-scale event management and is in his element at every huge event we get to booth. Graham enjoys camping and loves being a dad to a gorgeous daughter and handsome twin boys.

Emma – office assistant

Emma does it all – accounts, prepping client information and information packs. She also makes a great cup of tea (a qualifying factor!) and generally keeps the office running smoothly.

Merrilyn – accounts and development

With twenty years of office management background, Merrilyn is an expert at implementing new systems and finding even better ways to do what we do. She also loves Officeworks a little too much and isn’t allowed to go there alone.

Gary & Caireen – Mackay

We welcome our newest partners, Gary and Caireen – who have just launched In the Booth in Mackay.

Gary and Caireen have worked throughout Queensland but now call Mackay home with their young family. They share an exciting mix of technical know-how and a great eye for detail, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for Mackay and surrounds.
